When you are ready to apply for licensure, please email Amber at firstname.lastname@example.org to request the contents of the application packet. The materials will be sent to you via email.
Please note, for the applicant that is currently licensed at the highest level of licensure in another state (licensed at the independent level, has passed the required examination, and has completed the supervision requirement) you will need to request the 'LPC Endorsement Packet'. Please click the title for more information.
Ohio applicants please note, the "Ohio LPC" is equivalent to the Provisionally Licensed Counselor in WV in which the supervision requirement has not been completed. The LPC in Ohio will apply as a standard applicant and will need to request the standard application materials for licensure. If the Ohio applicant is licensed as an LPCC (highest level of licensure in Ohio) you may apply via Endorsement and request the LPC Endorsement Application materials.
Applicants for LPC Licensure will need to file the completed "LPC Licensure Packet" with the board office prior to taking the National Counselor Examand/or receiving your provisional licensure certificate. Please note that WVBEC also accepts the CRC or NCMHCE exam. If you have already taken and passed the NCE exam as part of your graduate studies, please request NBCC forward your exam scores to the board address below.
